Get ready for another thrift story. I just can’t help it. I have to document this $1 thrift store find. I have been seeing ruffle shirts all over the internet, and it makes me wish I had my white ruffle bodysuit that I loved back in elementary school in the 90’s. I loved that shirt, so perfect and went with everything. I was so stoked when I found this ruffle silk shirt at the thrift store. It really took me back, and I was so happy when I found it. Plus, it’s the perfect shade of blue. My wardrobe lacks in the blue department. I also recently thrifted these Ralph Lauren pants as well. It is the perfect 90’s shape to go with my perfect 90’s shirt. I still have a lot of baby weight to go, but that’s not going to stop me from rocking this shirt. Be prepared to find me jamming out to Savage Garden and Boyz II Men while wearing this shirt.
On another note, how is it possible that I am shopping/thrifting for a pre K wardrobe for Alice Jane!? I really can’t believe that we are at this stage. I think it’s harder to grasp now that I’m doing it all over again with Adelaide. I’m still expecting her to be this little baby, but she’s not. Watching Adelaide also makes me realize that I’ve forgotten all the special little things Alice Jane did as a baby. I remember them, but vaguely. I find myself going back to old pictures and videos just to remember exactly how she looked and sounded. I don’t ever want to forget her special moments, but they are fading. It makes me more inclined to take pictures and videos of Adelaide.
Do any of you have kids that are going into Pre K or have gone to Pre K? What’s some advice you have about Pre K ? I would love to even listen to some funny story’s.
